Announcements * Congratulations, Selma Jaber, for being chosen by Dr. Mount to sing the part of YOUTH for our performance of Elijah! * The job list will be passed around and singers can sign up for whichever jobs aren't filled (marked with asterisks). LISCA is all of us! * John Klein reminds us that there is also a CD available for $15 (besides the various sizes of prints of the whole chorus) of photos taken at the dress rehearsal and Casey concert. Ann will make them up if there's enough interest. Individual photos from the CD can also be printed. Keeping in Touch: Welcome back, Susan Pace! Susan is a long-time member of LISCA (sop. 1) who has returned to sing with us. Congratulations!! Our own Barbara Kullen (Tenor 1) will be honored as a distinguished alumni of Manhattanville College in Purchase, this weekend. The distinguished alumni award is given by the alumni association of Manhattanville College. Barbara ('63) was a corporate and securities lawyer over 35 years. While her for children, now grown, were young, Barbara worked part time for major firms in the financial services sector. She now, as a volunteer, is a remedial teacher to at-risk children at Little Flower UFSD #13 in Wading River. As an exciting side venture, Barbara is currently putting together a small choir and music booklets for a reunion liturgy recalling the former Pius X School of Liturgical Music at Manhattanville. New Member: Lydia Cottiers knows some of our members here because she also sings in the Moriches choir and works at Verizon in the Hamptons as a technician. Lydia sang with us last year at the New Village Church for the Messiah Sing. She lives in Medford with her husband and daughter, as well as 3 cocker spaniels and two 20 year-old cats! Welcome, Lydia! [Caleb was on a business trip in Chicago this week for BNL (along with Alejandro)] Our Thoughts Are With: On a personal note, my wife, Melissa (Bussewitz), who was brought to St. Charles by ambulance earlier today.
