Our next rehearsal is Tuesday, October 7th at the Newfield High School
chorus room.

We will be rehearsing the final six choruses (10/07):
No. 34  "Behold, God the Lord" (p.154+)
No. 35  "Holy is God the Lord" (p.164+)
No. 36  "Go, return upon thy way" (p.168+)
No. 38  "Then did Elijah" (p.173+)
No. 41  "But the Lord from the north" (p.183+)
No. 43  "And then shall your light break forth" (p.192+)

Last rehearsal (9/23):
No. 23 "The Lord Hath Exalted Thee" (p.123+)
No. 24 "Woe to Him!" (p.127+)
No. 29 "He, watching over Israel" (p.141+)
No. 32 "He that shall endure" (p.151+)


Announcements

    * John Klein reminds us that there is also a CD available for $15
(besides the various sizes of prints of the whole chorus) of photos taken 
at the dress rehearsal and Casey concert.  Ann will make them up if 
there's enough interest.  Individual photos from the CD  can also be printed.

Keeping in Touch:

Rose Koch is unable to be with us this season.  She sends her best to all.

the part of YOUTH for our performance of Elijah!

Melissa, my wife, is showing improvement and is planning on returning to

Invitations and Opportunities:

The Christ Episcopal Church in Bellport extends an invitation to sing in
their choir under the direction of Maurice Kemp.

The First Presbyterian Church of Port Jefferson is seeking singers for
Mendelssohn Sunday which will take place Sunday 12/21. We will be singing
"He Watching Over Israel" and "Lift Thine Eyes" from Elijah.  Prep
rehearsals will take place on Sunday AMs,
after the 10 AM services.

Here comes holiday time.  If anyone is interested in purchasing a "Katie's
Concert '07: A Christmas Candlelight Service" CD, there are still some
available.
